South 21 Drive In - Charlotte

Great place to get a classic cheeseburger. No bells and whistles, just a good pressed out and seared burger. The milkshakes are very light, but pair very well with a burger and fries. Also, the side of ketchup comes in a small plastic cup and they give you ketchup packets with your order if you only need a small amount of ketchup.

Old fashioned and delicious! Authentic 1950s drive in with friendly service and fresh, flavorful food. I had the 1/2 chicken plate that came with 4 pieces of chicken, cole slaw, french fries and 2 dinner rolls. The chicken was crispy and fried to perfection. It was so relaxing enjoying the food and watching the beautiful Charlotte sunset. We will most definitely be back! Special thanks to Guy Fieri w/Diners, Drive Ins and Dives for featuring this gem!

The food was delicious and the service was exceptional! Jeff anticipated my every need and even brought me a refill before I had to ask. He is truly amazing and excels at his job. Thank you for a fantastic meal and dining experience.

It's all as good as they've been rated! There is a reason why they were introduced to Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. This place is the real Deal Drive-in Diner and is definitely worth your time and money. Speaking of money, we have a lot of food for the price. Spent 27 dollars and had enough food for 3 or 4 people. Definitely a great place to take the family. Everyone there was super friendly and helpful. If there is a place, take the time to try while in Charlotte, you can't go wrong to the South 21 Drive in!
