The Lodge - Charlotte

The website made it really easy to place my takeout order. When I arrived, my food was already packed and ready for me to grab.

This is a fantastic family-friendly restaurant! We had four generations with a wide range of food preferences, and there was truly something for everyone. The staff took great care of our entire group. I especially appreciated how they made me a spicy grilled shrimp wrap using lettuce instead of a traditional wrap. Thank you!

I arrived on a Tuesday evening hoping to enjoy a meal, but I waited five minutes at the front before anyone came to seat me. After being seated, I waited an additional 20 minutes without any server approaching my table. Overall, the service was disappointing.

The Lodge does not own up to their mistakes. I recently ordered through Uber Eats and received something totally different but when I called they made it seem like it was my fault for not showing up in person. The manager Jason was extremely rude and had no business in an industry where customer satisfaction is a factor. I ordered the pretzel and queso appetizer but I got a box of tortilla chips...that selection is no where on the menu.

The service was good and it's a cute neighborhood bar, but nothing special. Fried pickles. Kids hot dog. And the blackened chicken sandwich
