The Bison and Prime rib were perfectly done and the appetizers always innovative and good quality. Many First Nation themed dishes. Highly recommended but book early for the weekend to avoid disappointment
Food was excellent. Great location. Service was good. Room was slightly chilly. View was great
Great food and excellent service we cant wait to go back!!:
I brought my husband here for his 67th birthday after treating him to a facial at the spa downstairs. (He was a bit uncomfortable at first thinking that males don't get facials...LOL) . Being new to the Shuswap area, I didn't know where to take him so I reached out to a friend who is familiar to the area and she recommended this place. I'm so glad she did. The whole experience was outstanding. The lovely staff that were working in the spa were so friendly. I think it was the spa manager who even gave me a little tour of their facility. I can't wait to return for a treatment myself. After his facial we went upstairs to the restaurant. Between the both of us we had the brussel sprout caesar salad (to die for), the poutine, chicken wings, and the house salad. They were all fantastic. Because it was his birthday, he got a complimentary dessert..., can't remember the name but it was outstanding. It was a lime/lemon meringue custard-type sweet. The waitress we had was very friendly and we enjoyed our chat with her. I can't wait to return for my birthday in July! I think we will make it regular birthday celebration go-to place. I'm also excited to gift some of their offerings at the lodge to friends and family. I know my daughter, who is a healer and uses drums in some of her sessions, would love to make her own drum (which is offered there at Quaaout Lodge.
