Auberge Des Charancons

Amazing Auberge located in the National Parc of Les Ecrins, in the middle of the mountains. You can park and walk for 2.5kms or drive directly throught the trail. The food from the French Alps is awesome: I tried theTartiflette (a dish made of melted cheese, potatoes and bacon) which was simply amazing and my mother had a Flamen which was lovely as well. The dessert called faiselle (a kind of cheese strainer) with raspberry coulis was fantastic. The couple who owns the Auberge is lovely and you can also sleep there if you want. It's only open during summer.
