Golden Big Bowl - Chattanooga

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It may not look like much from the outside, but their food is absolutely delicious! My only complaint is that they only offer plain white rice, but fortunately, they provide plenty of sauce to enhance the flavor. The service is quick, and the staff is fantastic!

The atmosphere is delightful, and the service is quick with friendly staff. Two people can easily enjoy a meal here for under $25. It wasn't crowded at all, providing a very laid-back ambiance. The quality of the food in relation to the price is truly exceptional!

Ok, I hate leaving this review but I HAVE to be real! Being a previous business owner, I understand the importance of a review! It was my first time eating here. I wanted CHINESE food but it literally tasted like barbecue. I literally could have made ittaste more Chinese then this. It wasn?t horrible if you like american wanna be Chinese food but when I want Chinese food, Iexpect Chinese food so I will never get this food again!

The food here is always delicious, and the medium bowl is enough for at least two meals. Sometimes there is so much meat that I find myself wishing for more rice! I really appreciate the great char flavor from the grill, and I like to add avocado for balance (it's an extra $2.50 and comes with a whole half, but it might be cheaper to add your own if you're taking it home). They have a white sauce you can add at the counter, which also comes with a small container for takeout. I dined in today and started eating before I remembered to take a photo, so the bowl is already mixed up and several slices of avocado are missing. With the avocado and a medium drink, my total came to just over $14 after tax at the time of this post. It tends to get quite busy with takeout orders, but the service is pretty quick. I enjoyed sitting in and watching the hustle and bustle while I ate!

A hidden gem! A no-frills teriyaki place that actually serves really good affordable food.The sauce is pretty standard but they actually chargrill their meat, which makes the meat actually tastes like traditional Japanese grilled meat. Would not call thisthe most authentic, but it did satisfy my craving for real Japanese food a little bit, as odd as it may sounds. Very pleasantlysurprised. Best thing to order I think is the chicken teriyaki rice bowl. Too bad it doesn?t come with any veggies, but giventhe price point, you can add extra and the price is still pretty cheap. Highly recommended!
