I visited here for lunch and the cafe looks nice from first impressions which is what drew me in. I walked in and stood there for a bit but no one served me, there were 4 people behind the counter. 2 making coffee, one doing rubbish and the other preparing something on the other side of the bench and then two waitresses off to the side. I had to approach the counter and ask if it was table service or order at counter. When I said my order another staff member had to come over and help the girl put it in the computer. I ordered fish and chips which was ok but very heavy. 2 big bits of fried, battered fish and chips and three sauces on the side. But I guess it gave me exactly what it said, I just think a little side salad wouldn't go astray. Also when the lady gave me my coke she gave me the bottle and nothing else. These are all little things that I'm sure will be ironed out as it is a new cafe but it is in such a nice space and looks so good that it has the potential to do really well if there just focused on good customer service and good food.

This café has recently opened but has more than a few teething problems. Visited for lunch with my daughter and grandsons. The girl taking the order did not have a good understanding of either English or their menu. When ordering a children's burger she insisted and argued for several minutes that they did not do them. Not until another staff member pointed out where to find on the computer did she find it. Also ordering further meals and drinks was a nightmare and took way longer than it should. BY the time our order was placed there was a very long line of people waiting. Then to the order. Coffee was cold and tasted awful. Children's meals ok but would have been nice if they had been given straws for their drinks and cutlery. Our melts were awful. Tasteless produce and very greasy. There was a large number of staff working. We counted at least 9. There was no excuse for the dirty floors in the kitchen area and food prep area - these could be seen from the tables. No excuse either for your customer area to have box upon box of drinks and other things stored in plain view. Not a good look. We have been to other Caffe Cherry Beans and the food and service has always been good. This was so bad no way would we give it a second go. Much more attention to detail and staff training needed.

I have stopped in here for a coffee 4 times now and am promising myself to try out the Breakfast which look and smells great.

We walked past, but returned, family group of six, seemed like a good menu, food came out quickly, and was very good, service with a smile, though clearing of tables could have been more efficient!
