I found this place because I cook plans / grill with this guy I dating, and he said he LOOOOVEEESSS rice and beans (aka Moro y Cristiano, Gallo Pinto, Sacramento, etc.) and I was like, posh I can do this. I mean, I can do this, I really didn't want to. Soy I pulled a side of Mrs. Doubt firebook and ordered rice and beans to go. They saw, smelled and tASTED so good! I pumped rice and beans from the small Styrofoam box and into a pan that got rid of evidence and told him I was throwing hours over the oven to make it. He loved it. I told him I'm just doing this for special occasions, so don't get used to it! I hope this place remains open to a LONG TIME.
The use of local ingredients in varied Italian-themed menu. I liked the most painted ice cream.
Large small historical village. Excellent food and drink here in an otherwise bleak culinary landscape. The restaurant is a former residence – tables are furnished in different rooms. Bar in the back room. Nice veranda. Route 20 is located in the Central Leatherstocking region of New York and is an old-school scenic ride. Exit to Cherry Valley/Rte 166. Ideal near, but not in, Cooperstown. Scene becomes alive on Glimmerglass Opera Nights.
I desire some Rose Kettle food! One of my favorite restaurants in THE WORLD! And I saw some. Great food, atmosphere and everything around super charming. Very recommended
Unexpected and delicious! Plus service with a genuine and heartfelt smile.
