Access is good unless you get stuck behind a trolley on the way up. Parking generally busy but outside paring at the top of the car park.
I walked in on Saturday 22nd May 2021. Was planning the trip for almost a week, after my child moved to university. However, walked in and I was faced with the fact that there were no blueberries. Mortified, shocked, disgusted, and in disbelief, it triggered an anxiety attack which forced me to leave 10 minutes later. My son has now dropped out of university after a week to start a blueberry farm to prevent further discomfort for me in the future. Good sizes shop with nice atmosphere, but I won't be coming back due to this minor inconvenience.
It may be a caff and with no pretensions but the food is very good value. I had a bigger breakfast as I was treating myself. Came speedily, was hot, tasty and looked good on the plate. Together with a pot of tea and all for about £7 what more could anyone want. Cafe was clean, bright and cheerful.
I have twice in the past two months walked out of the line in this café because of its slowness. Its handy to the car park. This time I went in and was the only one in the queue. The woman behind the counter studiously ignored me as she finished the preparation and service of the man in front, no 'Be with you in a minute ' or 'Sorry to keep you waiting ' Just ignored. For some reason unbeknown to me, because I can be a miserable sod I waited and did not toss the tray down and walk out. The food when it arrived was very good and piping hot but the experience was spoilt by the miserable rude woman at the service point
