Really uncool portions for the price unless you're looking for vegetarian. Would def skip on the nachos (see someone else's pic it was basically my same experience).
I was actually headed to a restaurant next door but saw the vivid decorations from Alba's window and thought I'd give it a try. I've now gone in about three times. The soups/caldos are truly made with that home-made feeling. My family likes their tacos and torta de milanesa as well. As a plus, the owner is always great to chat with, and makes us feel welcomed.
Popped in to Alba's for a quick take out order. The lady inside was so lovely, took my order and then made it herself! We tried ground beef, steak, chicken and al pastor tacos. Price for 2 taco dinners was fair at $29 and we really enjoyed the food! Our favorites were the ground beef and chicken. Next time I'd love to try one of their margarita's and might do some guac as well, as some other reviews mention it was tasty! I see some negative reviews mentioning online order chaos during COVID and I'm not surprised that a single owner/operator that speaks English as a 2nd language might not be able to keep up with a surge in volume and new tech systems, so drop in and I know you'll enjoy your experience!
I bought green and red tamales on the 24th. The chicken was dried no flavor and old. The pork had pieces of white skin in it, and a lot of fat. Never buy tamales here!!?
Bad experience place order but for the second time they cancel , and the excuse they given to me is the restaurant is close , so what about the hours in the website ...
