Barra Ñ Restaurant - Chicago

Words: subdued and overpriced came here for birthday dinner with my family. what we enjoyed most were the appetizers. the empanadas were delicious, we all tried aromen. I enjoyed the aubergine, a different taste profile than I used to, but it was very good seasoned. now to the escape. first ordered my father and brother burger. the waitress informed us that there were only 1 burgers in the entire facility. I don't know why they couldn't prep another, but they didn't and let him order something else, that was weird, but we went on. my sister ordered pasta that was delicious. the rest of the table ordered steak of different cuts and the consens was that it was chewing and unpleasant. idk, if the grill or method of cooking was not the best, or if they changed the quality of the meat, either away, none of us could finish our meal because it was so chewing. the highlight was the dessert plate they gave for my birthday and the drinks. for what we have, the $500-dollar tab was not worth. overall we will probably not be back unless they receive a new provider for meat.

The kabaobs were really hard. really unpleasant to chew. the salmon was bland. the “sautéed veggies” were actually only damped, not embellished (only the wobbles on the floor) the waitress took care of her friends and family who came in after us before we looked after us.

It was closed! to be disappointed to pay $40 over to the place and closed and have been able to make a reservation.

Excellent Argentine food! fun atmosphere. amazing dj on Friday night. I especially recommend the mango mojito, the empanada and the several chimichura sauces with which always meat they choose.

This place is the best. Amazing staff. Amazing food
