Bella Bacinos - Chicago

I ate here twice in two days. Both times the staff were friendly and the service was good. The first night I ordered a large thin crust sausage and pepperoni. The pizza was good but not great, I would give that pizza a seven. However the next day alocal Uber driver suggested we try the signature deep dish. So on day two I returned and ordered a Bacinos specialty deep dishand boy am i glad I did! The deep dish pizza was amazing! The best deep dish pizza I have ever had! Ten out of ten! If you gohere, order the deep dish! You wont be disappointed!

One of my top places for quality italian food. Great hospitality. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It has a cool atmosphere.

Good food, good service. Decor could use a little work, but it is a nice venue to actually talk with your dinner companion. Good to catch-up with your old friends or for a romantic night out.

It took about 30 minutes for my table to be seated, even with the reservation. Food was ok, but not worth the wait.

Family dinner while visiting Chicago. Our daughter was running the marathon the following day and we choose the restaurant for her pre race “carb load”. This is a hotel restaurant. The setting is not five star if that is important but the food and service were both excellent. They were extremely busy when we walked in at 5pm with the host doing that job and also wiping tables. I think everyone in Chicago was carb loading for the race the following day. Our runner daughter had spaghetti and meatballs. It was a success as she met her goal of completing the marathon in under four hours. Others at the table had pasta with Italian sausage and thin crust pizza. We did not invest the 45 minutes required for deep dish pizza although it looked excellent. Overall a really good meal and not too expensive.
