Cafe & Deli Ballou - Chicago

I was thrown today by the girl behind the counter from Cafe Ballou who identified himself as owner. I ordered a middle ICED tea from the menu that was $4. She picked me up for ice cream, for the iced tea. As ICE is the main ingredient in ICED tea, and in the title of the product on the menu, I asked the fee. I offered to pay for the tea with the additional fee, but stated that they should check how they charge on their menu. I was then asked to leave the restorer without the ability to make a purchase. I have been in this coffee shop for over 10 years and have addressed many people there during my time in the Ukrainian village. What a shame, I hope this message makes its way to the companies property, so they discuss this with the server and possibly avoid this kind of debacle in the future.

By far one of my favorite places in Chicago! Atmosphere, drinks and food are all fantastic but their friendliness is what really shines.
