Bagels are half the size of what you think a regular bagel should be, but have the price tag of a full sized bagel. Not sure why they seem to think steaming their bagels instead of toasting is the way to go they come out like a soggy roll of toilet paper. The cream cheese shmears are nonexistent don 't get a cream cheese bagel unless you want to waste money. Very slow service, you often have to go behind the counter and ask if your order is ready or you might never see it get put up in the counter. It takes them 20 mins on average to make a BEC in my experience. Not sure how that 's possible
I would move to Lincoln Park just to be able to eat this everyday of my life. Sandwiches were so yummy. Good vibe. What more could you want?
Finally tried the famous steamed bagels and overall enjoyed them. Super chewy, but not crispy on the outside like bagels often are. I had a sesame with chive cream cheese and they reaaallly load on the cream cheese. Both were delicious, the cream cheese just melted a lot because of the heat of the bagel. A good bagel option if you're in the area!
I love cba, but today I ordered 3 bagel sandwiches and they barely have any ham and bacon on them. This is the first time it's happened, maybe they're trying to save money. Next time I order I'm letting them know!!
