The elote (street corn on-the-cob) is delicious, and their Nashville hot chicken sandwich is better than expected. Try the bbq brisket sandwich with fries!
I am at a love/hate relationship with this restaurant. There are a few things very good with it. First, the environment is nice to sit down with others and enjoy a game on their many TV's. They also are fairly clean, which is respectable for a busy establishment on game days. Before a Sox game, if you aren't tailgating, this is a solid choice. Nothing else around this area is really that tasty, leaving you wishing that you found refreshments and something to munch down on somewhere else. Here, again, it's solid. Flavors be hitting! Now let's talk about the mixed impression. The food is good, but the selection is very limited. They need alternatives to French fries. I like fries a lot, and they also dab them up with spices the right amount. The cheese sauce you can add to your order definitely adds to the flavor explosion. But their needs to be more. Something lighter, or plainly anything else. The main entrees are mostly comprised of game classics you expect to see, like a burger, chicken and so forth. From everything I've had, the flavors are clearly crafted by chefs who know their way around the kitchen. No complaints with the chef in the back for sure. Damn good pub food! Now onto the bad. The service isn't great. Could be empty, could be full. You get a sense you're not appreciated. Checking up on the table once would be nice? Is being seated a thing here? Really not sure. Or if not, at least come to the table before a half an hour has past. Wrong items arrive, things missing from your order. This is unfortunately common from all my visits this year. Out of practice because of Covid? I don't really know. Lots of little details that would set an establishment apart as something truly special. I will still go here in the future as I do recommend their food. It's much more flavorful than the garbage they sell in the stadium.
Great spot before the game. Reasonable pricing for a stadium bar. Smoked meats. Good brisket nachos.
Great nachos, honestly we didn't stay here very long. Staff was friendly...food was good....great vibe in this place. I will go there next time I head to a Sox game for sure.
Great beer and drink selection. Small menu but good food and HUGE portions. If you got some time to kill before a game and are hungry it's worth the stop in.
