Cinco Mexican Kitchen - Chicago

The best enchiladas I have ever had (and I have tried a lot). Really hoping that they re-open soon!

Is Cinco planning on reopening? One of our favorite places to go but I noticed the sign was down :

Can’t wait until they open back up because it doesn’t get better than Cinco’s fish tacos, elote, and spicy margaritas. Also, great Al pastor and many tasty vegetarian offerings

My friends and I were excited to try this place out. When we arrived there was a sign saying staff were on break around 2pm and they opened at 1pm.There was also no telling when the sign was posted and it didn’t give a specific time for when they would be back.We waited down the street at Mariano’s and I called 3 times but no one picked up the phone.

The drinks were pretty good. The food was not bad, but IMO it was Amercanized.There is a credit card surcharge which isn't mentioned on their website or when we made the reservation. Our bill was over $100, who keeps that much cash in their pocket? The minute I questioned the surcharge, the waitress, once pleasant, turned quite rude that she stopped answering and facing me. Not going back!!! We felt totally taken.
