City Social - Chicago

I had to write a review because I have no idea why this place is rated so low. My husband and I came before a show and had a fantastic experience. The service staff was friendly and efficient, the vibes are good and the food was delicious. I had the chicken club and he had the short rib- both were very juicy and flavorful. Highly recommend checking this place out and giving it a chance despite other reviews!

Only on for drinks. Nice bright, cherry place. Nice screens for sports. A little loud with high ceilings etc. Good for groups.

Whether you're visiting in Chicago or a city native, give this place a try. You'll be glad that you did. The food is amazing. I would suggest starting with an appetizer. The salmon bites were amazing, served with a light and tangy salad. The short rib grilled cheese puts all other grilled cheese sandwiches to shame. The atmosphere is really something. A beautiful open space surrounded by large tables, lined up flat panel TV's behind the bar and a friendly waiting staff waiting to take your order.

I must say Social City is a nice restaurant to visit for Happy Hour. The atmosphere is great, the waitress is attentive, and the wait time for your meal was excellent and fast.The food came out hot and the drink selection is definitely on point. The restaurant gets a thumbs ? for me!!! I am not a fan for the calamari tho ? just my opinion to salty

Food- We got the Chicken Fettuccine and shared it between two people! Perfect quantity and completely filling! Some of the BEST pasta I have had for such a good price pointService- Our girl was so good! We forgot to add chicken and when we told her she SPRINTED to tell the chicken and checked up often! Absolutely wonderful service! We weren't sure what to drink, and she was sooo helpful with her suggestions !Ambiance- beautiful restaurant but not as fancy as the website makes it!
