Having grown up on the southern border of Texas, I'm quite particular when it comes to Mexican cuisine. That's why it really means something when I declare that this is, without a doubt, the best Mexican restaurant I've ever experienced. We order from here frequently, and everything they serve is outstanding. You can genuinely taste the care and attention to detail in each dish, crafted from high-quality ingredients. It's no surprise that during the pandemic, the community rallied together and raised substantial funds through a GoFundMe to support the family in keeping this restaurant open.

We've ordered from this restaurant 5 or 6 times and have no plans to stop anytime soon. I'm quite particular about my Mexican cuisine, so I was pleased to discover this spot among the many similar choices on Clark. I’m not a big fan of the al pastor here, as it can be a bit greasy, but their Mole Enchiladas and asada tacos are absolutely *chef's kiss*.

I rated this place 5 stars, even though I've only tried the Menudo, which is the best I've had! I appreciate that they serve it every day. I've also had the chips, which are excellent. The service is outstanding, with a very friendly staff. The "mom in the kitchen" is always there cooking, and I'm eager to try more of her dishes. The Huaraches are great as well, made fresh by hand.

What a Gem! We were in the area and this is one of the first Mexican restaurants that popped up. Honestly it was one of the best Mexican food We have had in the city. My wife ordered a sope de asada and it was the most delicious and freshest sope she’s ever had. I ordered a torta de milanesa with a side of rice and taco de chicharrón which was very delicious! i will definitely be making the trip back up there again from Pilsen soon!

Really nice people here and the portions are generous. Coffee is brewed fresh and really good. I had the nachos supreme and the guacamole and salsa was great. Service is excellent. I saw one cook hold the door for a lady with to-go bags (and the door is the opposite end of the store) and my server checked on me so many times and kept my coffee cup full.
