When I asked my server, Lili, to replace them, I was told that the manager did not approve and I would have to buy more. The prices were already high, so I expected better quality. It was disappointing that they couldn't even serve warm food.
Fair prices at first glance. Upon seeing the portion size and quality of the food it was more than reasonable. The presentation of the entree (Tilapia Tacos) was absolutely gorgeous and the taste of the food was beyond anything I could have expected.
Got the D'Nuez salad which is a mix of a Caesar and southwest style salad. The grilled chicken was good, but any Mexican restaurant should have good grilled chicken. The salad and dressing were okay, nothing to write home about, but the cheddarcheese was literally processed, Sliced cheese that was cut in little squares! For a $17 salad thus was over priced and underdelivered. Will not be back.
The food was delicious, but the restaurant was understaffed and extremely busy. We had to wait a long time for our drinks (coffee) and were seated right next to the kitchen hostess area. However, I would still recommend it for their Chilaquiles Cordobesa.
The portions were on the smaller side and the egg was bland. However, I have to mention the $1.25 jelly jam that I had with my toast, which was disappointing. I requested half lechera and half cajeta for my crepes, but it ended up being poured all over the plate instead. Lesson learned - go to the And to get better service. Plus, I was served a whole cup of mole sauce.
