The cafe is on a really cute street amongst the city’s cutest independent vintage shops, a plant store and is across the street from Humboldt Park. We love sitting outside on the patio and people watching so this is a prime spot for breakfast in Chicago.
We were coming after the party that had a bad experience with them being treated badly/unfairly and their young kid was crying as staff continued to take his small bike from under him. Maybe it’s time to get places like to be more responsible? We won’t be supporting this type of business. For some odd reason they also only deal in cash. Restaurant can contact us for photo evidence if needed. Discrimination against strollers, small bikes and certain people only…
Cash only! The breakfast burrito was filling and pretty good (though I’d call it big, not huge) but it costs extra to add vegan sour cream and cheese, even though the dairy versions are included in the non-vegan version of the burrito. I enjoyed the side of spiced apples!
Had a great brunch here with some omni pals! Lots of options are vegan by default or clearly labeled as veganized by request. The breakfast burrito with vegan chorizo was delicious. This was also cheaper than the “grass-fed steak” which is a nice change of pace. My partner got the vegan pancakes, which were fluffy and flavorful. Worth checking out!
Was in the city with an Omni friend and needed a place that had both options. This place did not disappoint!! They had tons of vegan options but I got the taco salad and I have never been so impressed by a salad before it was also huge along with being delicious!
