Janson's Drive In Inc - Chicago

I love this place. It's got its own little vibe. I recommend not going when it's busy, I waited like 20 minutes the very first time I went here 3 years ago. On this last visit, ordered, used the rest room and poof my order was ready. Super good food, friendly staff, weird customers, overall I love it.

Chicken tenders were good. Nice and hot, crispy and fresh. Check your front line though, honey mustard dipping sauce was actually vinaigrette.

The beef was good and the onion rings were amazing.

Janson's has many good food options. I love their ribtips. The ribtips have the perfect char grilled smoky flavor and are very tender. The tips also have the perfect amt of sauce. The bbq pulled pork sandwich is quite tasty, it is a nice size sandiwch and the perfect amt of sauce. The cheese fries are very good. The flavor of the cheese sauce is heavenly. The bbq bacon cheddar burger is quite nice. Very nice bbq sauce flavor and burger flavor. The bacon is perfect on the burger.

Consistency, quality, and a touch of nostalgic fun. Everything is great. If you wanna try a meatless offering, give the portobello mushroom sandwich. Have it once and you'll crave it fortnightly. Great, great place
