La Catrina - Chicago

This restaurant was exactly what I was looking for! The food is delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. The piña colada I had was everything I could have hoped for. I can't wait to go back! The interior is somewhat small, but it's a charming little spot. I visited to celebrate my friend's 30th birthday, and everything we tried was so tasty. The homemade chips and salsa were particularly impressive.

I don’t usually write reviews, but the food was fantastic. I ordered the birria tacos, and the consomé and meat were packed with flavor. To make the experience even better, the owner, David, came over to introduce himself and treated us to a shot of tequila and some complimentary tiramisu! The atmosphere was lively, and everyone was so welcoming. I will definitely be returning soon!

Overall, an excellent experience! The servers were friendly and attentive, and the food was outstanding. The drinks were also fantastic!

The restaurant has recently undergone a remodel and revamped its menu, and I absolutely love it! Everything I tried was delicious. I highly recommend this place! The michelada and mole are must-tries. The atmosphere is inviting, and the service is very attentive. I can't wait to return for bottomless mimosas on the weekend!
