I came in yesterday in from an hour away to try this spot I’ve been wanting to try. It was 3pm so no one was in there, we were not greeted this woman walked up to us and told us the back area was closed. Then she walked up to the table and said what can I get for you rudely. She didn’t say Hi, her name or how to access the menu.I asked her name she said “what”, I said your name she said Sunny and stared directly in my face like why did I ask her name? Horrible service! I politely took my service next door to Bamboo Club they were amazing service, food drinks!
When I heard there was a New Orleans bar in Wrigley I did not waste any time to check it out as I love everything NOLA. This bar did not disappoint! They have Abita on tap and we had one of the most sincere bartenders assist us. Woogy was so attentive and went above and beyond with his service it made me feel like I was actually visiting the real New Orleans with that great hospitality that it is known for! Do your self a favor and check out this gem of a place in the heart of Wrigley!
I don't like the fact that you ban most black music (R&b, Hiphop, rap) including PG artists like Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Brandy, Boyz II Men, etc. This is per the Touchtunes Jukebox. Anyone can download the app and clearly see you block most black music. Only black artists categorized as pop are seemingly allowed. Isn't New Orleans a heavily African American city? This is weird and wrong.
My experience at this restaurant was horrible and the waitress was not really interacting with my family and I we were there trying to celebrate my sister’s birthday and I never been to a restaurant where you had to pay for the service ahead of time and I seen that we were the only table that had to do it and we still didn’t complain about it just continued to enjoy my sister’s birthday and when the food arrived the chicken was burnt and we all ordered different flavors and they all taste sweet not honey garlic and lime, sriracha and buffalo chicken voodoo also they all tasted burnt and not really what we ordered the shots we ordered were the most expensive one I asked if we could get the happy hour ? and was told I was served the 15 dollar tequila shots already and I ordered two tequila sunrise and three hurricanes we were just trying to support the business it was different experience but we were treated like we didn’t belong in there and we ordered gumbo but it was mostly rice and celery and green pepper I wouldn’t recommend anyone to accept any treatment like we did and we all are very well mannered and working young ladies
