Revolution Brewing Co - Chicago

WORST service experience in my history of dining in Chicago. Drake, our server, needs to find another career path. Food was OK. Most flavorful item was the pretzel. Service was beyond slow for a quarter-full restaurant. Took us forever to be greeted and eventually sat. Apps came out before our drinks, and entrees came out before we had refills. In the middle of service when Drake should have been checking to see if our table needed anything, I saw him SITTING DOWN at a table of guests, ignoring the tables in his section. We got horrible service as did the tables next to us in the section. Drake didn't check on us until we were done with our entrees. With other awesome restaurants with great service in the area, there's no chance we'll ever step foot in this place again. I asked for a manager while there, but was told there wasn't one on duty.

A local recommended we visit Milwaukee Avenue to check out a few breweries. Our first stop was Revolution Brewing. It is definitely a Brewpub as the food was just as tasty as the beer. The two of us split the pastrami sandwich (plenty for two) and a side of mashed potatoes, since I wasn't in the mood for French Fries. Both were incredible and I highly recommend ordering. The Bloody Mary was very good, as well as the beer. We interacted with a few staff members and they were all super friendly even asked us questions about our time in Chicago. Overall, a very good experience and I highly recommend a visit.

Classic Chicago microbrewery with a wide selection of beers so many tasty ones!

The staff is consistently friendly, and they offer a fantastic array of craft beers! I'm not typically a fan of IPAs, but their different IPA options have even won me over. Their selection of session sours is also exceptional!

1st time in Chicago, I didn't know much about the subway system, so I walked here from Union Station and did 6 miles in just an hour. I tell that part cause the hostess was amazed by it, she told her coworkers, and well, idk who but someone one bought me a beer lol. Thanks. I finally had Softshell Crab, Thx to this place, and it was AMAZING! [Sadly, I was so excited I forgot to take a Pic of the softshell crab lol] I will be back!
