Rooftop At Nobu - Chicago

To be honest, the rooftop experience was quite disappointing. Many of the pictures in the reservation listing show the main floor restaurant rather than the rooftop. We ended up at a high table with uncomfortable stools. The menu had very few options, and unfortunately, the food didn't impress. The $8 vegetable taco was only an inch and a half long and extremely spicy. It was advertised as two tacos, but I was charged for them separately. The sushi was also lackluster. I won’t be returning.

I had a terrible experience on my birthday. First of all, the table we reserved wasn't available, and the chairs on the rooftop were very uncomfortable. The quality of the food was not as good as I remembered. When I made the reservation, I was told I would receive a complimentary dessert as a birthday gift, but I never got it. When I inquired about it, I was told that since I had already ordered a dessert, the free one was no longer available. Overall, it was definitely not worth it. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had on my birthday.

I had a fantastic time on the rooftop during happy hour last Friday. There was a great atmosphere, perfect for people-watching, and the energy picked up as the night progressed. The cocktails were delicious but a bit pricey. The food was creative, with the cod dish standing out as a highlight. I would absolutely return and recommend this place to others.

Well booking the restaurant reservation online. It should give you an option for a table inside or outside. Second, my special request wasn't made as I put it in my reservation request. Third, there were a lot of people coming sitting or stand outside near our reserved table they didn't have tables interrupting personal space and quality time with my loved one. Employees should've told them to sit down or reserve a table.

I am so disappointed at our experience at the Nobu Rooftop. Our table was ignored and the server only checked on us once in the hour we were there. He did not offer to get us any food or let us know if the kitchen was closed. As hotel guests and considering that I indicated on our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday it was just unacceptable. I do not recommend the rooftop at all, the service is significantly inferior to the restaurant downstairs.
