There’s a mandatory 20% service fee for all room bookings and another 20% gratuity for food and drinks ordered from the room, with no option to adjust the tip. I highly recommend ordering drinks from the bar instead, where you can decide your own tip amount. While I usually tip 20% for good service, paying 20% just for the room booking feels unacceptable. 2. **Staff Attitude:** Almost the entire staff, except for one person, was either incredibly rude or unhelpful, which made the experience even worse. 3. **Weak Drinks:** I took a group of people over 60 to celebrate my mom’s birthday. They typically only drink two cocktails max, but due to the lack of alcohol in the drinks, that wasn’t the case here. If you’re seeking a great experience with friendly staff and reasonable prices, I highly suggest you avoid this place!
The bar has a lovely ambiance and the staff are very courteous. However, I found the music selection to be quite limited. What frustrated me the most was that the songs weren't traditional karaoke tracks; instead, they were music videos featuring lyrics for singing along. Nevertheless, I had a good time, even if it wasn't what I had anticipated.
I had a great time with my friends, but I found the drinks to be watered down and overpriced, which I guess I should have anticipated. Getting drunk isn't my main goal, but I ended up spending a lot on drinks and didn't even feel tipsy, which was pretty funny. The music selection could have been better, especially if you're a fan of Black artists in the R&B and hip-hop genres. The staff was quite limited, which wasn't ideal, but they were nice and respectful overall.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My family and I went here recently, because karaoke is a big deal in our family and our culture. We know what makes a good karaoke, and what does not. So, we came in the hopes of having a good time but we leftwith disappointment and frustration. The staff did not present themselves well to us after we buzzed them in a few times to helpus with operating the Karaoke. One staff seemed very agitated and had a sour expression on her face. We all agreed that theaudio was way too loud, so my dad couldn 't take it anymore he had to step out but he was kicked for loitering in the mainlobby. The karaoke selection itself was not good, it was very outdated, although they did have most of the current Hollywoodartists on there. Honestly, the future of Karaoke now is YouTube. If you want to have a successful Karaoke Bar, upgrade yoursystem to YouTube, so that everybody can search and sing WHATEVER they want to sing. The pricing here is also too much, for sucha below average experience. Please, if you are planning on going here, don 't. You 'll only waste your time and money.
"The best-kept secret in Chinatown! The private room rentals feel like an exclusive club, offering plenty of space for you and your group. Plus, it's BYOB! Just a heads up about parking—make sure to pay close attention to the signs."
