The staff was exceptionally friendly, making me feel right at home. I got great value for my money, especially enjoying the Salonica burger after a long stroll in the area. If you’re a book-loving tourist like me, I highly recommend checking out the nearby bookstore (Powell) either before or after indulging in a satisfying meal at Salonica.
As a Japanese person, I found that while the presentation might not be the most appealing, the flavors are delightful. The portion sizes are generous, yet even someone from Japan can finish a plate. Although it's a Greek dish, it surprisingly caters well to Japanese tastes.
The atmosphere is pleasant, the prices are affordable, and the location is conveniently walkable.
THE HOT COCO WAS SO GOOD IT MADE ME SO HAPPY I WANT TO CRY ITS SO GOOD I LOVE IT SO SO MUCH COME HERE FOR THE HOT COCO GUESS P.S THE HOT COCO IS GOOD :
My first visit and I'm in love. Cute vintage interior. Everyone seems so pleased to be there, which just adds to the comfy atmosphere. Had the chicken noodle soup (which came with a bread basket! Like a giant hug!. Also the Athenian omelet. It was cooked perfectly and loaded with feta and vegetables. The hashbrowns were perfectly crispy. Comfort food at it's best on a cold gloomy day. If I lived in the neighborhood, I'd be a regular!
