Came here with a group of 6, celebrating my dad's birthday weekend. they were very accommodating and all the food was amazing! definitely recommend.
My friends and I went for Easter brunch and found the food to be mediocre at best. The Pound of Piggy was good but nothing particularly special. The biscuits with orange and chorizo gravy were pretty gross. Additionally, I found the host, the bar tender, and our server all to provide very mediocre to poor service. The three of them lacked warmth, attention to detail, and generally an interest in actually serving patrons. I really had high hopes for this restaurant and was severely disappointed.
We went for brunch. The **** mary was fantastic and they have a great selection of beer. Both the piggy by the pound and the half chicken were great. These are meant to eat like tacos, so order a few items like cabbage, corn or potatoes to throw in. One of these dishes would easily feed 2- 3 people. We waaaay over ordered. The biscuit with the chorizo gravy was also very flavorful.
I have to admit I had high hopes for this place. Specifically, I couldn't wait for the Piggy by the Pound dish. I was extremely disappointed that for an 8:15 dinner reservation they had already run out of it ....... We ordered about 75% of the rest of the menu and it was all good, but not great. If you live nearby, this would be a great place to stop in for a casual meal, but not sure our 15 minute Uber was worth it. Maybe this review drastically changes if the Piggy by the Pound had been available!
