Sora Temakeria - Chicago

I decided to try Sora Temakeria on a whim after spotting it on UberEats. I usually order the Volcano and vegetarian rice, both of which are delicious, fresh, and always served at the perfect temperature. I recently also sampled the lo mein with chicken, and it was fantastic too! It's a great place for fusion food.

The quality of the food has really declined to a mediocre level. I remember when the restaurant first opened; the dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. Now, the presentation has become lackluster. The menu has expanded from a few select items to an overwhelming number of options, and it just isn’t the same. Perhaps things changed after COVID, and the owner had to make adjustments to stay in business. Unfortunately, the quality just isn’t what it used to be. I've visited this place about seven times now, and I was really looking forward to my meal today, but the poke bowl didn’t meet my expectations. I’m sorry to say this. I hope the owner is doing okay, assuming it's still the same person running the place. Wishing you all the best.

The fish here is excellent and very fresh. The Hawaiian bowl is a must-try! I highly recommend it. I ordered mine with extra avocado and extra salmon.

The best sushi in the area, hands down! I've been coming here so often that I've spent over $120 a week on it. I just placed another order because I can't get enough (I'm totally addicted!). Everything is delicious, but my favorite is the Kaji roll. I highly recommend it. Definitely 5 stars!

The waitstaff were extremely helpful and courteous. The service was quick, and the food was fresh and delicious! The atmosphere was fantastic, the establishment was clean, and the music had a lively vibe. This place is definitely a must-visit!
