The atmosphere was warm and calming, we went around 8pm, the music was really fun it made me want to dance.Vegetarian options: There are a few on the menuParking: There was street parking and a parking lot just down a block from the Diver
I went today with my girlfriend because we were there last night for the night club and we had a lot of fun. Well today the vibe was great except the service we got was so bad that they never brought my order I had mentioned it a couple of times and still no surf turf torta. They were giving our orders to another table but the guy who was taking our order just never put my food order in. I told him about it and I asked them for the check and he came and gave me the torta I had ordered for free but when I got home I saw that it was not even what I had ordered. They need to write the orders down because they don't write them down and they made several mistakes. Hope they learn from this and the food was ok by the way.
Came here on a Sunday for brunch bottomless $30 for bottomless mimosas margs 90min. Mimosas made with Cava, were pretty decent. Margs were ok just a tad too sweet for my liking, but definitely bottomless! It seemed that they weren't pre made since I saw the bartender shakin them up every time. The group got various breakfast tacos one ordered the chilaquiles. I felt like the food came out cold but it all tasted ok. Service was fine with just 3 workers but it wasn't as busy as I thought it'd be. I made reservations for 4 12:30 but I our group was the last to enter until about 2.5 hours later. Definitely a cool vibe inside to escape for the cold.
The menu boasts a great selection of vegan and vegetarian options. We started our meal with the Chips and Salsa appetizer, which was really good (4/5). For my main course, I chose the Almost Vegan Tacos plate, which came with two filling tacos and a side of Mexican rice and refried beans. The Vegan Tacos were tasty but slightly lacking in spice for my taste, so I would rate them a 3.4/5. However, the flavors were bold and unique, incorporating a variety of vegetables. The beans and rice side dish was delicious and satisfying, definitely a dish I would order again. The service at The Diver was excellent. We were seated promptly thanks to our reservation, and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations for food and drinks. The restaurant had good background music that didn't overpower conversations. If you plan on dining during the weekend, it's highly recommended to make a reservation. Overall, I would definitely return to The Diver and perhaps check out their happy hour with friends next time!
This charming little Mexican eatery is cozy and inviting. The decor is lovely and creates a intimate atmosphere. I highly recommend trying their Milanese torta, it's my go-to dish every time. I suggest grabbing some friends and swinging by before a night out!
