I have walked by several times. Finally stopped in. DEEELICIOUS! I tried the picadillo and carnita taco. Both were bursting with flavor and a touch of spice. You should definitely give it a try.
I hate to denigrate or badly talk down local businesses after such a difficult year. However I feel compelled to share my negative experience about this tacot spot. Went yesterday w/ a friend during a super busy time, old town art fair. I have no problem with ordering at the counter, take a number wait inside. I wasn't in a rush so I was willing to wait more than usual. I never been to this place, didn't check reviews on Yelp so my unbiased mind was totally open to the experience. I ordered 2 tacos, 1 tuna, 1 duck, 1 churro. 1) both tacos tasted quite bland, 1 tortilla came fried which I strongly dislike the taste flavor. Other one was steamed but the filling was very average, no punch, no flavor 2) churro is the absolute WORST I ever eaten. I'm no churros expert but it tasted dry, over fried, cardboard, chocolate sauce couldn't save the disaster. I was extremely disappointed, how can one mess up churros??! 3) my friend never got his churro after 20 minute wait, at this point we left so bummed out by the negative experience
Tacos are so good and delicious. I recommend for anyone in old Town to stop by .
Poor! Food came out all not as ordered (missed extras, missed allergy-related removals). Missed side orders. Did not seem aware of concept of chips guacamole as appetizer, waited for full meal. Little flavor on anything. Stale chips. Unfriendly service, extremely slow even when not busy. Server not aware of what's in dishes. Just not ready to be an operating restaurant.
