John's Pizzeria - Chicopee

Food was not good. Sat for half hour without our salads or bread. Poor waitress running around to serve dine ins and take orders for take out! New owners...so we were told...was my first time and last time there.

Had a wonderful dinner, great service as well as food at a right price. The new owner stopped by the table to introduce himself so it was nice to meet the young entrepreneur.A day before my wife and I went to an exclusive and very pricey establishment in Holyoke. We both agreed the food was much better than at the overpriced establishment in Holyoke. However, the ultimate kicker at the Holyoke establishment was the dual pricing. They will charge you an additional 5% if you pay with a card. As a former restaurant owner I know that credit card processing fees are nowhere 5%.

Ordered pizza and a few sandwiches. The New Yorker Panini (2 people ordered because the description sounded delicious) was not as described. It arrived with a yellow cheese (American most likely) on it only, not the Mozzarella and Blue Cheese as described. The blue cheese was the whole reason I choose this item!! There was a Turkey Wrap that was supposed to be cold but somehow came pressed and hot like a panini.

I believe there's a new owner. The food is not the way it used to be. This was a place my father and I would eat regularly. Unfortunately that is no longer the case.

I love this place they are so nice and friendly and helpful and polite too
