Chichoy - Chimaltenango

Here at a tour to iximche stopped and had a really good lunch. all enjoyed their meals and the food and service were both great. very cheap and a great value especially the nachos! also great piña coladas and queso fundito as I never had. do not miss the employees who show how to make tortillas near the main entrance!

Eating was pretty good. it was bark like roast in the bowl with rice. some types of squash, mais, carrot, güisquil veg birne, which is also in the squash family. the tortillas were so soft and fresh!

Nice ambience downstairs, bit too modern upstairs. Good, quality food with fresh blue corn tortillas. Solid place if looking for quality meal

Stopped by here with the family on our way back to Guatemala City. Beautiful atmosphere with friendly service. Ordered the Plato's Tipicos de puyazo and it was excellent. Everyone else was happy with their plates to with the fried fish being the highlight.

Excellent guatemalan restaurant. the single parrillada (for a person) was really good and satisfied. although the parrillada was great, the tips of our order were the queso fundido con chorizo (fondue with chorizo,) the best I have ever tried, anywhere in the world, not only in guatemala and the cardamom flan. what a breathtaking desert, served with real fresh eyes and earthy. very, very, highly recommended! have I mentioned the cardamom flan? also the note were all amazing waiter and server. an example to follow all over the world. Finally, a shout out to our amazing server ronaldo higueros one of the most talented young server we have met.
