The best eating on the island chios! pleasant environment, nice eating, nice staff and friendly owners! beautiful mushroom truffle pasta!!!
Superb traditional Greek and Italian food, friendly, efficient service and smiling people. The location is beautiful, the view is breath taking and the long drive is really worth it. Don’t forget to make a reservation, because there is literally nothing else there.
After being notified about this local restaurant in Fyta, I wanted to visit and taste it myself.... and what a surprise! The inviting restaurant with its marvelious view, the people that hosted us immediatedly and explained about the specialties of that day while serving at first the springwater from Fyta. We started with a crusty cheesepie with honey and sesamy, another kind of pizza with goatcheese and honey with truffle, a salad with bluecheese, pear and apricotdressing, melizanosalata... forgetting that the maincourse was still to come while sitting on the stove. All these different flavours... I can't say which was my favourite. Then, when were served with a kokkinisto that melted on your tongue, so mild the meat. There were other dishes that I desired to taste but I could not eat more.... it invites us to come back soon. Criticism? Not to have discovered this gem before.... Amazing view, phantastic kitchen and very friendly staff and owner. Athanasia Remco
En route over the isle Chios we arrived at this wunderfull and magical place. With a view you can’t believe. Friendly and kind people were greetings us. Outside there was a well with healthy and fresh mountainwater. The restaurant served this water and the waiter explained that this wunderfull place was honoured both by local, but also by Amerikaan greeks. We were assisted in choosing a Greek meal. Greek flavours with twist. Perhaps a little more exquisite. We started of with a salad of ruccula, with blue cheese and pear. Drizzled with a little apricon syrop, oil and vinegar. Then we were served a delicious warm feta cheese in phylo dough with honey and sesame seeds. Then we had Kokonisto. Delicious stewed meat in red sauce. As a desert we had a lovely lemon pie. And each course our waiter was smiling and explaining. This restaurant is really seemingly in the middle of nowhere, but you should make an effort to go there. Athanitsa and Remco (with love)
