The Farmhouse - Christiansburg

We had a great family dinner! 7:45 Saturday reservation for 5. We sat on time and waited immediately and was attentive during the meal. The food quality was very good and everything was cooked according to the desired specifications. They also had a nice range of Bourbons. Unfortunately they had from the main rib on arrival, but there were many other options to choose from. Dinner was expensive, but with what you would find in other high-lying steak houses. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful server!! Good laugh. Chocolate cake for birthday delicious and very appreciated. Dinner rolls well. Gin and Tonic good. Wedge salad excellent. Odors from the kitchen made our table surface uncomfortable. Risotto overboils. Crab cake mushy.

A great place for a celebrity dinner, especially beautiful in terms of catching up with Virginia Tech events. Excellent food offerings (above night I was there they were from the main rib, a usual specialty of the agriturismo, but the ribeye was great) and variety was good.

I had a burger and my wife had a crab cake sandwich. Burger was way overcooked to the point of being dry. Wife’s crab cake was so-so. Servers were nice people though.

The Farmhouse is always a nice place to go to. The food is consistently well prepared.
