Quiet ambiance which is nice so long as you don't have a loud mouth swearing person one stall (booth) over. Service was sparse, the kind of thing where you jump out of your chair if the server walks by to make sure you don't miss your chance. All of that said, the food was very good and, while expensive for the New River Valley, I felt it was priced reasonably.

It was a bitter cold night celebrating our anniversary, but the warmth and ambiance at The Farmhouse offered a quiet and private booth for an intimate dining experience. Our steaks were done to perfection. We started with a generous serving of onion rings (outstanding) and ended by sharing a crème brûlée (delicious, but skimpy portion). The size of the dessert did not diminish our experience and we will definitely return. Kudos to our server, Robert who was gracious and attentive.

Prime rib is always amazing. The little dinner rolls are so good. Our server was amazing. She checked on us often (you could get hidden in the little private booths) and always made sure our beverages were full. She was a delight! The young man who delivered our food was very kind as well.

Excellent visit as usual. Food/drinks were great, service was awesome. I do feel like maybe drink prices could be a little better but overall happy with our visit and will still come back!

It was date night for me and my husband. He had the 14 ounce ribeye and proclaims it is the best he's had in the states and only rivaled the previous championing spring bok from South Africa. As for me, I ordered the vegetarian fettuccini and it is the best I have ever had in a restaurant establishment. So many flavors burst forth and there's the coziness of the garlic to really round out the ensemble. For dessert, I eagerly devoured the delicious limoncello mascarpone but I wish it could be a larger slice. To be fair, I wish that of all desserts! The waitstaff were accommodating and professional. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The restroom was exceptionally clean. We will definitely dine here again!
