Also not sure what happened to the comfy Premier Inn pillows because these were very hard and uncomfortable. The lack of windows would mean I won’t choose this hotel again which is a shame as it was otherwise good. Convenient location with a short walk to the High Street Rooms: 2
This hotel has NO signal for mobile phones due to the area it is in. For this reason we made sure they had advertised WI-FI so we could communicate with the outside world. Sadly, on arrival it was not working, we were told to keep trying as they would reboot. The Wi-Fi never worked for our stay and we could not even make a phone call to local relatives we were trying to meet. No ability to download a book on kindle, make any calls, deal with any business emails etc. It was very frustrating. When we complained we were told to direct our complaint to their Wi-Fi provider and that it was a free service (er no, it is included in the £120pn charge we paid! . Alongside no tables available for dinner until much later than we wanted, no TV remote in the room and the out of order vending machine that couldn’t provide us with bottled water, and no staff about that point, we will not be returning. Please ensure the Wi-Fi works if you want to have any contact at all with anybody. We have used so many premier inns but now will be reconsidering due to the lack of any caring attitude when things do not go well.
