I 've just read some very negative reviews from people who think they know what 'traditional ' Ramen is or have eaten Ramen once in Japan and think they are experts. There is no traditional Ramen recipe. Every shop in Japan is different. This Ramen was fantastic. The chef uses chicken and dried fish (that he imports from Japan) for the broth. It 's clear and complex yet simple. The pork had some great flavour and texture.... I find people are cooking the **** out of pork these days to 'melt in the mouth '... TEXTURE IS GOOD! Some nice fresh tomato which just adds extra umami and a little rocket. Haters and gonna hate, but this ramen I highly rate. We also had edamame which came warm and salted with some very good quality salt. Agedashi tofu that was super crispy on the outside and soft and silky on the inside. It too was beautifully seasoned and had that lovely fresh tomato to cut through the saltiness. Service was friendly and smiley and they accommodated for our pram and had a high chair ready for us. DELISH!! We had the vegetable gyoza, tofu ramen chicken ramen. 10 out of 10 for flavor. Thanks so much, new fave little spot
Great staff and great feed! was not ramen as I expected upon my first visit but is top quality and their consistency for return visitors is top notch. I have not been disappointed. come down check em out if you want some original ramen from a joint that isn't just following everyone elses recipes :

Just had a great meal at Fat Fish Ramen. We had both the pork and beef ramen which were great. Our daughter got the chicken rice don and loved it. Service was fantastic! Very short wait for food and served with a smile. We will be back regularly!
