Wah Sun - City Of Bayswater

First time I've dined here in years since it changed hands. Nice to see the menu hadn't really changed and all my old favourites were still on there. I ordered a bunch of my old favourites: deep fried garlic beef, garlic fried rice, chicken omelette with gravy, bbq beef and steamed rice. All dishes were pretty cheap in comparison to other Chinese restaurants. The mains I ordered were $13 14.<br/ <br/ Deep fried garlic beef is unique to this place marinated strips of crumbed garlicky schnitze, deep fried and served with a garlic dipping sauce on a bed of wonton skins. It was a little on the tough side but tasty. The garlic fried rice is another dish I haven't seen at other chinese restaurants and it was just as good as I remembered. I loved the chicken omelette so much, perfect cooked and soft. The bbq beef was the same flavour as I remembered it but was swimming in sauce.<br/ <br/ Would definitely return.

Love the food and services. Friendly staff and delicious food. Especially, there is a new Thai menu just came out and I have tried chicken pad Thai, it’s yummy and definitely worth to come back again :

We ordered vegetable curry, tofu veg clay pot, veg fried rice, chips and spring rolls. Everything was amazing. It really reminded me of how Chinese takeaways do it back home (England) rather than the typical Aussie approach. Fresh, crunchy veggies too. It arrived quite quickly via the Eat Now app. Will return very soon!

Absolutely love this restaurant. Great friendly service, knowledgeable staff, tasty fresh food, at a reasonable price. Never had a dish I've been unhappy with.

Great food great atmosphere and very well priced.Had dinner with my wife and friends there last night.This would be one of the best metro restaurants around.
