Coal Yard Cafe - City of Ithaca

Great coffee, fast service, one of my favorite brunch/coffee spots in Ithaca. The ranch eggs slap HARD.

It's very small place with limited seating so it would be helpful if they could implement a courtesy rule where you can't save a table until after you've ordered. We went on a Sunday when it was busy and there was a long line to order food but an even worse wait for a table. Servers just had to hand customers their food...while they were still standing waiting for a table. It was a stressful, chaotic dining experience and I will try to visit another time when it's not as packed.

Found this small and local restaurant while I was roadtrip for fall foliage. Absolutely love the taste and price was very reasonable.

Bunch of creative food and drink options. Parking was a little tricky but otherwise the experience was wonderful.
