To start, we shared a delicious lentil vegetable soup that came with two pieces of bread. My wife ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with mushroom pesto, accompanied by a side salad, which she thoroughly enjoyed. I opted for the free-range, locally sourced hamburger with fries. The service was excellent, and the restaurant was spotless. It had plenty of natural light and lovely table flowers, creating a pleasant atmosphere.
I visited the restaurant for brunch on a weekend. While the staff were friendly, we ended up asking three times for coffee refills. I found the bread pudding French toast to be very disappointing; the berry compote was the highlight. However, the eggs ordered at our table were delicious, as was the duck croissant. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I wouldn’t recommend it and don’t plan to return.
This place is fantastic! We shared the French toast, and then we ordered the Chef's breakfast (the one on the bottom) along with the bacon, mushroom, and Brie omelette. The coffee and orange juice were excellent as well. I'm a big fan of this spot and will definitely be back!
Wonderful ambiance. A bit pricey, but something are worth it. We had the heirloom tomato appetizer, nice size prob, really fresh and tasty. The burger was wonderful. Everyone at the table raved about it. Pate, brie, cooked just the way you like. I had the chicken. It was salty and a smaller portions than I would have looked for the price. But it was very tender and the sides were wonderful.
Good food. Amazing outdoors dining. Vegan options. Delicious burgers. Oysters yah. Great neighborhood restaurant.
