We have always loved their Yum Cha, so we chose to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary there. What a disappointment. The food tasted like it was mass-produced, especially the pork dishes. We ordered Prawn Dumplings, which were filled with a mixture of pork and beef, and the Oyster Mornay was also filled with pork and beef, overpowering the taste of the oyster and sauce.
It could be 30 minutes under Dandenong Rd, but this place was just delicious. The dumplings are very nom, nom and also huge! Authentic feeling place, just like Asia. Super busy, loud and really good at the wallet.
Visits for an event. The service was good and the food was well prepared. The food is mainly Chinese. There's a dance floor and a stage.
I brought my mother and sister to this restaurant for lunch. It was nearly empty and the staff didn't speak English, which made ordering a bit challenging but also fun. We had Yum Cha and just pointed and nodded at the menu. The food was decent, but not exceptional. With so many other restaurants in the area, I don't think we'll be returning to this one.
This restaurant in Springvale is excellent. There is plenty of parking available for free for diners, you just need to notify them to receive a parking ticket. The food is delicious and follows a traditional Hong Kong Chinese style. Prices are reasonable and the dining area is spacious, so there is usually seating available even without a reservation. Overall, this is one of the best hidden gems for good food in Springvale.
