Great taste, great portions. Definitely coming back often
First time here for a quick Sunday lunch and mainly because of some reviews. Must say their home made fish ball in their fish ball rice noodle soup is the real deal and what a real fish ball should taste and feel like. Unlike the over bouncy prepackaged ones in the Asian shops. Also had their fried fish skin in salted egg yoke. This is the freshly fried version and still piping hot unlike the prepacked Singapore version.<br/ <br/ Will hopefully have the chance to try their dinner dishes one day before I understand the original chef leaves!!! Then who knows what will occur?<br/ <br/ Lots of parking and cosy place though might be a bit out of the main dining mad place of Glen Waverley precinct.
I love it. I came because there is a friends reunion. The location is much better than kingsway Glen Waverley, no parking fine. The food is special, really love the fish noodle and other unique items which is usually available in Hong Kong.
It was the first time at Red Panda, the location was an interesting area with a small amount of local stores surrounded by residents (common in 80s-90s). Service was instant and we received some complimentary dishes after chatting with the staff however it was not busy when we dined. The majority of the food were well done; the flavours were stronger than usual and the temperature of the dishes were sizzling-hot when they arrived. Their Cantonese dishes were very traditional and well done. Ambiance is a bit 90s and I can imagine it getting cramped when busy. Overall, it’s a great place to dine and I’d definitely visit in the future.
