This small restaurant is friendly, authentic, good food and affordable. Many vegetarian choices are available. Highly recommended!
The food was bland, the falafel.were green but tasteless,no garlic, no cumin,no salt or pepper , the vegetarian bammia okra) tastes only of white pepper and no pulses were added, still charged £12. Plain white rice, only white pitta bread, the full beans were also bland and very very little tomatoes , more like a hot humous.. without flavour as well, the menu said mint and lemon cold drink, they only had orange juice,.or canned drinks, .the toilets were clean....we will not go there again, the resturant in desperate need of Gordon Ramsey menu make over....our oyster consolation was that it was healthy...but tasteless, the tabbouleh was the best thing
A lovely family restaurant tucked away near both Baker Street and Marylebone tube stations. The food is delicious and us authentic Egyptian. The people are friendly and helpful. Recommended.
The food took a long time to arrive, the drinks were expensive, and the dishes were under-seasoned. They only accepted cash, but the waitress was kind enough to allow us to eat before getting cash. The pita bread seemed store-bought and was dry. Overall, I wouldn't return as the food was bland and tasted like something I could easily make at home.
