I did not receive a very friendly welcome when I entered the restaurant. I ordered a coffee frappe, which was clearly listed on the menu above the bar. The server seemed confused and did not even know they offered it. Another staff member had to come help, but they also did not know about the coffee version of the frappe, despite it being on the menu. After I explained what I wanted, they finally made it for me. However, it was clear they were not experienced in making it, as the drink was not pleasant at all. The texture was strange and almost seemed curdled, possibly due to using different types of milk. Overall, the service was poor and the coffee frappe was undrinkable. It was a waste of time and money, and I will go to Costa or Caffè Nero next time. This experience has unfortunately put me off going to EAT in the future. Very disappointing.
This is normally a great place to eat but our visit today was disappointing. Staff didn't know what they were doing. No real warm option. We opted for just a coffee and whilst in the shop saw loads of people come in and leave without a purchase.
Conveniently located to Westminster Abbey, The Cathedral. Always like the Oatmeal as my morning breakfast choice.
Wonderful selection of salads, wraps, sandwiches, pastries at reasonable prices to takeaway. EAT is a chain, so there are several branches around London.
