Hearty and healthy, it's no surprise that Ottolenghi has gained such a following, especially among the Notting Hill mothers. The fresh juices and exquisite salads are my personal favorites. In particular, the aubergine salad is unlike any other and showcases the unique Mediterranean cuisine that the restaurant strives for. While it may be a bit pricey, I can assure you that the food is worth every penny; it is simply the best and the flavors are incredible. Even better, for those of you who become as addicted as I have, customers can purchase dishes to take home. An Ottolenghi side salad can liven up any homemade meal.
I had the chance to visit Ottolenghi during my trip to London and I absolutely love his diverse Mediterranean fusion cuisine. The eggplant salad was incredible - perfectly seasoned and so delicious that I couldn't stop eating it. I highly recommend it.
Came by to try the flourless chocolate cake, but was tempted with the breakfast menu. finally decided to order the rührei with salmon. the part was so big. it came with acidic sawn, salate and acidic teig. the teigs were very soft. lachs was a bit salty for me, but the touch was amazing. service was excellent (the shots were very friendly and all smiling.) finally the flourless chocolate cake tasted very nice!
Better for a take out than sit in. Lovely cakes, had the orange almond cake at the recommendation of one of the works. Latte was good but small. Brownie is one of the best in London, but a tad too sweet for me. No wifi. Good service
