Instead, it is situated on Baker Street, just a 2-minute walk from the renowned Madame Tussauds Museum. The cuisine offered is authentic, featuring a mix of traditional, contemporary, and home-style dishes. The combination starter, which allows diners to choose three types of appetizers, was a standout dish. We highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning soon.
After disembarking at Marylebone station, we were famished and in search of a quick, delicious meal. When we stumbled upon this restaurant, we both agreed it would be a suitable choice for the evening. Although the ambiance was lacking, it reminded me of the type of restaurant we were in. The piano in the middle of the restaurant seemed out of place as it was not being played and there was no music in general. The service was excellent, with our waiter likely being one of the oldest we've ever had. All of the staff appeared to be authentically Japanese. The food was superb and the sake was served perfectly. While it may be a bit pricey, it's a dependable option for a great Japanese dining experience.
Having spent 3 years in Japan and now residing in Italy, I was pleasantly surprised to discover an authentic Japanese restaurant in London. My family and I stumbled upon this hidden gem while on our way to the Sherlock Holmes museum. Despite not initially seeking out Japanese cuisine, we were grateful for the opportunity to escape the busy streets of London and relax. The service was excellent and we had no trouble communicating in English. We each sampled different dishes and all agreed that the food was fantastic. I highly recommend paying a visit if you happen to be in the area.
Great Japanese and very authentic, staff are very friendly and quality is very good. i would recommend SOHO Japan for dinner
Conveniently located across the street from Baker St station we had dinner here with a few friends. They ran out of a few dishes we wanted to order on the menu. They didn't seem to offer main dishes except a few soups. I needed to order three dishes to feel full. I had deep fried oysters, tuna and salmon makl rolls. The consensus was that the food was well prepared but you wouldn't come here for value for money. The service was very good and the restaurant appeared to be run by a family. Come here if you need a Japanese fix and you're nearby but otherwise there are other places which offer a more fulfilling menu.
