This is the most satisfying place with something for everyone. It's hard to overstate this oasis of food and drink. Each item is fresh and delicious. Really delicious. Everything is quality to the core!
I love Claudette's The avocado toast is the best I've ever had. Any of the food that I have ever ordered has always been fresh and fantastic. I do not order take out food in Rockaway often but when I do, Its always from Claudette's.
Not impressed by the food at all. All of the hype for nothing. Try the Buffalo chicken. It's a over breaded cutlet drowning in some restaurant depot Buffalo sauce. Nothing special here. And the staff seems like they are all out to lunch all the time. After 3 attempts at eat here, I won't be going back.
Before I explain my experience, I just want to know what chef decides that BURGERS are to be put in a cup? I mean, I didn't even receive a bun on the side or nothing, and the meat was a mystery. I think I saw the meat in a cookbook with a question mark next to it. The worse part is that it smelt like sausage and had the texture of mild nourished penis. I went to this place last week and brought a question mark burger, burnt brussel sprouts, and the turkey with mashed potatos. And no, the Brussels werent lightly grilled- it was burnt to no recognition. I tried to put it in my mouth and it fell on the floor like snake ashes. The food made me feel like I was at a funeral considering that I had the remains of brussel sprouts dressed in black attire. The turkey with mashed potatos was hideous. The turkey was like faux leather and the mashed potatos were beaten to a pulp with the skin inside of it. I went from a funeral to a WWE match. Plus, none of this was seasoned properly, it was dry as all hell. Tip: if turkey can stand up on it's own, your chefs need help The other side of the issue is the price, I paid over 30 dollars for a lab burger, ashes to ashes we all eat burnt brussel sprouts, turkey that stands up and doesn't pay rent, and hulk Hogan mash potatoes. The chefs didn't even look like they knew where the hell they were and sounded like they were asking the staff how to make certain plates. I would be disoriented too cooking science project burgers and turkey.
