The food was delicious, the service was pleasant, all within a building of historical significance.

A pleasant surprise in Berkeley! We plan to dine here again, even if we aren't attending an event at Zellerbach Hall. It's a laid-back spot with friendly, well-trained staff and linen on the tables.

We really enjoyed the piano music from the bar next door. Our waiter, Mark, was outstanding.

We had such a good time between beautifully plated food and great advice /suggestion from Tony. We spent 3 hours around the table not even noticing the time passing by. Really a treasure in Berkeley.

The physical plant itself can’t be beat for an elegant night out. The menu can use some changes, same old, same old for too long. Our wait person was young and giggly and got several things wrong. I feel like she might have benefited from further training before a Saturday evening service.
