Contribuisci feedbackThe restaurant operates seasonally, which meant that I could not visit. I received a call only five days before my reservation informing me that it would be canceled. I had already booked my flight and traveled all the way from California to celebrate my birthday there, so I was extremely disappointed. I found out about the cancellation just a day after their closing date, and it left me uncertain about what to do next.
I had a fantastic experience at La Marina. The food was wonderful and the location, with its view of the Hudson River, was perfect. The staff were quite friendly as well. Overall, it was an excellent outing!
The restaurant automatically adds an 18% gratuity. Unfortunately, our waitress was not attentive at all. Our order took a long time to arrive, and it was actually a busboy who brought our food. My partner's order was incorrect, and the waitress forgot to include a fried egg that was part of my meal. She never checked in at our table to see if everything was okay or to refill our water. Overall, the service was very disappointing.
Despite reading many unfavorable reviews, we had a great time. waitstaff was timely and pleasant. will definitely go back and tell others to try there despite the negative reviews.
Food was ok, overpriced. View was impressive! Service was horrible. Wait staff huddled together chitchatting instead of attending to customers
