Primetime Donair Poutine

This was my first time ordering from here. I expected the Alberta Classic Beef Donair Wrap to contain sliced beef like a traditional donair, but it didn't quite deliver that charred flavor I was hoping for. On the other hand, the Onion Rings were quite tasty and the portion was massive!

I ordered a regular-sized Build Your Own Beef Donair, Chicken Shawarma, Veggie Wrap, and Mix Wrap, but they were very stingy with the cheese. The Spicy Chicken Poutine was also disappointing, as it lacked both gravy and cheese. On the bright side, the onion rings were quite good.

The food was fantastic! However, I have to mention that their regular portion size is smaller than what you would find as a small at other places. Given the price, I expected a bit more.

I had the medium donair poutine, and it was a satisfying meal. The crinkle-cut fries were topped with shredded mozzarella, delicious donair meat, gravy, and a sweet sauce. Everything was evenly distributed, which is a plus since there were no dry spots. If I were assessing it as a classic Montreal-style poutine, it wouldn't hold up—no double-fried fries or cheese curds. However, as a Western-style donair poutine, it gets high marks! The service was quick, and the staff were very friendly. Thanks for a great lunch!
